Here’s how you can use the site:
1. Read through our Expert Advice section for content that will help you feel informed, comfortable, and grounded in your approach. In these Expert Advice articles, our advisory board of mental health professionals and educators give tips on how to successfully respond, support, and bridge the teen to professional mental health services.
2. Search our True Stories by Teens index and select a story with your teens. Adults tell us our stories help them better understand and empathize with the youth they serve. Teens who read our stories see how their peers got help and report feeling less stigma around their mental health challenges.
3. Select an activity from our Activities for Youth section to explore the feelings that emerge from reading one of our teen-written stories and to help build social and emotional learning. Activities often provide a way to bridge youth to professional mental health services.
